What to buy...

I headed out to Michaels today to buy the Student kit for course 1 with my 50% off coupon. I got home and cracked it and my tool caddy open and discovered that the kit and the caddy have the same things. The only difference is the spatula is a straight one in the student kit. The lady at the store failed to mention that you can either buy the student kit or the tool caddy. She made it sound like you needed to buy both. Tomorrow I'm going to return the kit. I'm not happy that I wasted my coupon on something I didn't need.

This blog is under construction :) It won't be getting regular updates until October. I've signed up for the Wilton cake decorating course 1 and it doesn't start until October. I'm already armed with a few supplies and a lot of excitement, now I just need to wait.

I love looking at beautifully decorated cakes and am amazed at how much work people put into making them look so wonderful. Now that I have a kid, I want to make awesome birthday cakes for his birthdays. I made him a turtle cake for his first birthday and enjoyed the process. I find myself already planning what I'm going to do for his next birthday!
